like this rifle.
am going to either sell my sig m400e FDE or out fit it.
am considering buying a 2VETS.
Noticed their bolt has a side charging handle.
This seems like cosmetics to me.
Anybody have an opinion on that or knowledge?
dont like the front sight on my sig and would rahter have a full battle rail and a flip up front site.
Which AR would you buy if you didnt own one?
Got a link so we know what your talking about?
Are you talking about this:
Academy – 2 Vets Arms LRRP 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington Semiautomatic Rifle
I don’t like the side charging bolt handle cause it’s on the right side and I’m a lefty. I don’t see myself getting a stainless barrel in something other than something I would only use for long range accuracy/hunting applications. I like to machine gun my AR15’s from time to time but I might would do a stainless barrel in .308 AR platform but that’s just me.
Yes, Thats the one.
concur about the barrel.
need to spec out what want and build it or have it built.
nfortunately for me, dont know enough to do it.
Got to learn more and then can.
Think will keep learning and taking suggestions.
ltimately build my masterpiece this year.
That is a nice looking gun. To expensive for me though.
see people driving 40k trucks all the time and say my wife would kill me if bought that.
ts all about where you put your money.
buy my wife vehicles and take her hand me downs with high mileage.
also dont have a huge house that cost $500 mo in Electricity each month because wised up about 6 years ago.
Dont tell Dave Ramsey that spend my money on restaurants, guns, fishing gear, ammo, and waste the rest.
t dawned on me that the bolt handle is on the left side.
am not a lefty but shoot left handed.
Actually any hand, any side, any gun or bow.
cannot throw left handed though.
prefer to shoot left side because of dominant eye.
My left side is stronger than the right.
Neither side of my brain works.
As far as the 2va rifle is concerned.
The charging bolt on the left side is good for me think.
clear a round or add one without removing the gun from my shoulder.
Dont like the shiny barrel.
think want to go gas piston with an M16 bcg.
5.56 of course.
gotta figure that bolt thing out.
If money was no object this would be high on my list.
— SR-25 ECC —
like it but its 308 and 7.62 only.
Thats an awesome gun for someone that will not be hurt shooting expensive 308 ammo.
Nice features on this gun.
hear Knights has good stuff.

I want a AR 10 also. I just don’t want to pay for it. I think the Knights Armament SR-25 is cool but overpriced.
Over priced, maybe but top notch quality for sure. I wouldn’t pay their price though unless I had unlimited funds.
Just as with most other things that top notch quality reputation means you just got pay that much to buy the name and even though it might be top notch it really bothers me spending so much more on something just because of branding.
I have to agree with you teknabuzz.
I don’t like paying for reputation but will pay for quality.
Sig AR’s are great quality for the money.
I will not buy a 2vets because I don’t like the shiny barrel.
I think I will do the mod on the front sight and install a full battle rail on my SIG M400E FDE.
I believe I have almost decided exactly what to do.
I have to hold my sig again to make sure my thinking will work.
The sig m400 will do just fine.
made the changes and think have it where want it. Gotta go test in the field now.
Really like the 13″ VTAC Alpha Rail by Troy industries.
What do you think?
Added some updated hogue grips to the Zombie Slayer too.
Just the finger groove model.
That is a nice looking gun. I take it you are a Sig fan?
My bitone XDs 45 is my EDC and praise God I will be getting it back from recall soon.
I like Glock pretty good.
I like SW but don’t buy them because they sold out gun owners during the Clinton admin. (most people forgot)
I buy sig, glock, HK, Remington, Ruger. savage.
All pretty good guns except for sig P2XX series are reeeeeeal good guns.
I have shot an M&P and Bushmaster.
I will take my Sig M400e any day.
