we don’t eat much in the way of canned/tinned food normally, maybe 2 tins a week in the summer(usually baked beans and corned beef) maybe a few more in the winter. as far as food dates go we don’t take a lot of notice, if it smells ok it probably is ok, that’s why we were born with noses!!:)
I do eat a lot of tinned stuff, but its not unhealthy. Tuna, kidney beans and so on. Its actually healthy if you look at the nutritional values, anyway its the life style that truly counts towards health. Plus I also eat a lot of fresh home grown foods now, even started growing my own.
